Can I make / receive phone calls with eConnect Japan SIM?
Our prepaid SIM card is for data only. Like many visitor SIMs in Japan, it does not facilitate traditional voice calls or SMS.
However, you can use VoIP applications like Skype, WhatsApp, LINE, etc. to make calls over the data network.
